Industrial automation
A solution from MCS Grup
Turnkey automation of machines and production lines: design, Siemens PLC/HMI/SCADA software, panels, commissioning and documentation.
We design, program and commission control systems for machines and production lines in the Siemens standard. The engineering is done by the team of our manufacturing partner in Türkiye; you deal with a Polish company — a contract in Polish and a Polish VAT invoice, payable in PLN.
Manufacturing plants of roughly 20 to 500 employees running Simatic or mixed installations: several generations of controllers, panels from different vendors, documentation scattered across binders. Typical triggers are a new machine or assembly cell, an extra stage on an existing line, taking over an installation after an integrator ended the relationship, or having no in-house automation department and needing engineering capacity on call.
We do not integrate robots. If an industrial robot is in scope we say so on the first call and work alongside your robot integrator.
Software on its own — new blocks, migrations, extensions — can also be ordered separately; see Siemens PLC, HMI and SCADA programming.
Our partner runs its own panel workshop, so the enclosure is built alongside the software rather than at a third subcontractor. We build enclosures from IP54 to IP66, in painted steel and in stainless steel where the panel stands in a wet area. Construction follows PN-EN 61439-1 and the machine's electrical equipment PN-EN 60204-1. The scope of the factory acceptance test and where it is held are agreed in the offer — as is the scope of the declaration of conformity, which depends on whether we supply a complete machine or a part of your installation. On an existing system it is usually cheaper to re-equip the panel than to build a new one; that is the subject of production line modernisation.
We start with a technical call and, where the scope calls for it, a site visit: we look at the machine, the documentation and the working conditions. A concept follows, with a signal count and a component list, and on that basis an offer with scope, lead time and payment terms. Once accepted, electrical design, panel building and programming run in parallel, and an acceptance test with simulated signals is held before shipment. Commissioning is planned in the window production picks: a weekend, a maintenance shutdown or a section-by-section rollout. At the end we hand over as-built documentation and run the instruction session. After handover you keep remote diagnostics during Polish business hours and service visits agreed per project.
Three reasons. Engineering availability: the automation team can be scaled up for the duration of a project, without recruiting on your side and without queueing at an integrator. Time: the difference between Poland and Türkiye is one hour in summer and two in winter, so the working day overlaps almost completely and remote support answers the same day. Paperwork: industrial goods move from Türkiye into the European Union duty-free under the customs union on an A.TR certificate, and you still sign with a Polish company and receive a Polish VAT invoice.
The partner has already delivered outside Türkiye — among others a production line in Germany and a machine in Czechia (2023). How we select manufacturers and what we take on is described on the Turkish manufacturers page. Part of an automation investment can be co-financed from Polish and EU sources; we keep the current routes on the funding page.

We design new systems on Simatic, because that is where our libraries and our repeatability are. In existing installations we meet other vendors' controllers and exchange data with them over OPC UA; any further protocol is confirmed at offer stage.
No. You contract with a Polish company, receive a Polish VAT invoice and pay in PLN. Industrial goods move duty-free under the EU–Türkiye customs union on an A.TR certificate and we handle that with the manufacturer.
Your counterparty is Team Knocknock sp. z o.o.; the manufacturer's warranty terms are an annex to the contract. Remote diagnostics run in Polish business hours and site visits are agreed per project. We do not promise 24/7 on-site service, because today we could not keep that promise.
The lead time goes into the offer, once the scope is fixed. The longest items are usually component availability and the shutdown window on your side, not the programming.
No. Robot cells are outside our competence and we say so before the offer; we can work in parallel with a robot integrator and take the control, panel and safety part of the scope.
