Let's Talk

Privacy Policy

Team Knocknock sp. z o.o. (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we process through teamknocknock.com, including the Influencer Lab creator accounts and the client portal, why we process it, and what your rights are. Last updated: 13 October 2026.

Who is responsible

The controller of your personal data is Team Knocknock sp. z o.o., ul. Rekreacyjna 29B/2, 05-500 Józefosław, Poland (KRS 0000788140, NIP 1182194995). For anything about your data, write to contact@teamknocknock.com.

What we collect and why

Contact forms and newsletter. When you write to us or sign up for news, we receive what you enter (for example your name, email address, phone number and message) and your IP address, which we use to block spam. We use this to answer you and, if you signed up, to send you news. Legal basis: steps before a contract and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR); for the newsletter, your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

Requests to creators. When a brand contacts a creator through an Influencer Lab profile, we receive the brand name, contact name, email address, budget, message and IP address. We show the request to that creator in their creator panel and use it to arrange the collaboration. Legal basis: our and the creator’s legitimate interest in handling business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Influencer Lab applications and creator accounts. If you apply to the Influencer Lab, we receive the details in your application: your name, email address, town, areas of interest, social media handle, follower count and what you tell us about yourself. If we accept you, we create a creator account and a public profile with the details you choose to share, such as your name, photo, bio, city and niches. You sign in with a single-use link that we email to you; there is no password. We record when you last signed in. Legal basis: providing the creator service you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You can change your profile, or ask us to remove it, at any time.

Profile photos. You can upload a profile photo in your creator panel. If you have connected Instagram, you can instead choose to use your Instagram profile picture; we copy it to our server only when you click that option, and you can replace it at any time.

Client portal and agency team. If you are a client, or a member of an agency team working on a client’s account, we keep your name, email address, your password (stored only as a one-way hash that nobody can read) and when you last signed in. When a presentation is opened in the portal, we record when it was first and last opened and let our team know. Legal basis: performing our contract with you or your company, and our legitimate interest in following up our proposals (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

Security. To protect accounts, we log sign-in attempts with the email address and IP address used, and we block repeated failed attempts. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site and its accounts secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Analytics. Only with your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. See our Cookies Policy. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Booking a call. Consultation bookings run on Microsoft Bookings. Microsoft’s privacy statement applies to the booking form.

Instagram connection (Influencer Lab creators)

Creators in our Influencer Lab can choose to connect their Instagram professional account to their creator profile. The connection is optional and uses Instagram login provided by Meta. Meta’s own privacy policy applies to that login, and Meta acts independently of us for it.

Who is responsible. The controller of this data is Team Knocknock sp. z o.o., ul. Rekreacyjna 29B/2, 05-500 Józefosław, Poland. You can contact us at contact@teamknocknock.com.

What we receive. Only with your permission, we receive your Instagram username and account type; your follower, following and post counts; metrics of your recent posts (likes, comments, reach and views); account insights (reach and daily change in followers); and audience statistics that Instagram provides only in aggregate (countries, cities, age bands and gender). We do not receive data about individual followers, we do not access your messages, and we cannot post on your behalf.

Why we use it.

  1. To verify that you own the account.
  2. To show verified, up-to-date numbers on your public Influencer Lab profile.
  3. For Team Knocknock’s internal assessment of audience quality, which we use to match creators with brand campaigns.

Who sees it. The numbers shown on your public profile are public. Aggregated audience statistics may be included in proposals we send to brands that are considering working with you; they never contain data about individual followers. We do not sell your data.

Storage and security. The access token that Instagram gives us is stored encrypted on our server. We keep the statistics only for as long as your account stays connected.

Deleting your data. You can disconnect Instagram at any time in your creator panel, remove the app in your Instagram settings, or send a deletion request through Instagram. Any of these deletes the token and all statistics we hold from Instagram immediately. You can also write to contact@teamknocknock.com.

Legal basis. We process this data on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time by disconnecting your account; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

Complaints. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, UODO).

Who receives your data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with providers that run parts of our service for us, and only as far as they need it:

  • Hosting.com, which hosts the website and its database;
  • Microsoft (Microsoft 365), for our email and the booking calendar;
  • Google, for Google Analytics (only with your consent), for the map on our contact page (only if you choose to load it) and for the fonts the site loads from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address when a page loads;
  • Meta, if you connect Instagram (see above).

Brands see what is public on a creator’s profile and may receive aggregated audience statistics as described above. Creators see the requests that brands send them. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where they do, they rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Messages from our forms, Influencer Lab applications and requests to creators: up to 2 years after our last contact with you.
  • Newsletter sign-ups: until you ask us to remove you.
  • Sign-in and security logs: 90 days.
  • Single-use sign-in and invitation links: they expire after a short time and are deleted the next day.
  • Creator accounts and profiles: until you ask us to remove them, or until we end the cooperation.
  • Client portal and agency team accounts: for as long as we work together; after that, the account is closed.
  • Data from Instagram: only while your account is connected (see above).

Deleting old data runs automatically every night.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect processing carried out before. To use any of these rights, write to contact@teamknocknock.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, Poland.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar storage only as described in our Cookies Policy. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the site or our services change. The date at the top shows the current version.
