Questions and answers
Import, VAT, warranty — common questions
Do I import from Türkiye myself?
No. You contract with a Polish company, receive a Polish VAT invoice and pay in PLN. Industrial goods move duty-free under the EU–Türkiye customs union on an A.TR certificate; we handle that paperwork with the manufacturer.
Is VAT different for goods from Türkiye?
No. You receive an ordinary Polish VAT invoice (23%) and deduct the VAT as usual. There is no customs clearance, no EORI number and no import VAT on your side.
Who answers for the warranty and the service?
The contract you sign names Team Knocknock as your counterparty in Poland, with the manufacturer's warranty terms attached. Remote diagnostics run during Polish business hours; site visits are agreed project by project.
Can a Turkish manufacturer be my partner in an EU-funded project?
In Horizon Europe and Eurostars — yes, Türkiye is an associated country. In the Polish FENG "Ścieżka SMART" a foreign company can be your supplier or subcontractor, and a consortium member only through a Polish entity. The funding page has the details.
How do you choose the manufacturers you represent?
We visit the plant, check the certificates (ISO, CE, partner programmes such as Siemens Solution Partner), the references and the export record — and we publish a company only once the representation agreement is signed.
