TikTok Shop Is Live in Poland: What Foreign Brands Need to Sell There

TikTok Shop Is Live in Poland: What Foreign Brands Need to Sell There
Category: Growth
Date:

Since 15 June 2026, people in Poland can buy products without leaving TikTok. TikTok Shop launched in Poland together with the Netherlands, Belgium and Austria, with InPost for delivery and BLIK for payments named as key partners. According to TikTok, more than 14.2 million people in Poland use the app. For a foreign brand that wants Polish customers, this is a new shop window that sits right where the attention already is.

What changed

Until now, TikTok in Poland could only send people somewhere else to buy. Now the whole path happens inside the app: a short video or a LIVE stream, a product card, checkout with BLIK, and a parcel to an InPost locker. Polish shoppers already use both every day, which removes the two biggest frictions a new brand usually faces: paying and delivery.

What you need before you can sell

Requirements change, so check TikTok’s seller centre before you start. At launch, guides for the Polish market described these as the basics:

  • A Polish or EU-registered business, with a tax ID and VAT registration. Brands from outside the EU, including Türkiye, typically need an EU entity, a fiscal representative or a merchant-of-record partner.
  • Prices in złoty, including 23% VAT, and a business bank account in złoty in the company’s exact name.
  • EU-compliant products and paperwork. Cosmetics, for example, need their CPNP notification.
  • Fast dispatch and delivery options Polish shoppers expect, above all parcel lockers.

If you do not have a Polish or EU structure yet, sort that first. We cover the options in our Enter Poland guide.

What sells, and what it takes

Early categories were fashion, beauty and lifestyle, and the first local sellers announced were Polish brands such as beBIO Cosmetics. The pattern from other TikTok Shop markets is consistent: products that are easy to show in 15 seconds, at impulse prices, win. A product that needs a long explanation does better on your own site or on Allegro.

The bigger change is in content. TikTok Shop rewards volume and authenticity: frequent short videos, creators who actually use the product, and LIVE sessions where people can ask questions. That means planning for:

  • Creators in Polish. Affiliate creators earn a commission per sale; smaller local creators usually feel more credible than big names. Our Influencer Lab is built for exactly this.
  • A steady flow of short videos. Real footage of the product in use, plus variations you can test. AI video helps with backgrounds and variations, but the product itself should be filmed for real.
  • Customer service in Polish, fast, including returns.

Our take

TikTok Shop will not replace Allegro or your own online store in Poland, and it does not have to. Treat it as a test channel for products with a visual hook: start with a small range, two or three creators and a month of content, and measure orders, returns and margin after commission before you scale. Brands that already have the EU structure and the content engine can be selling within weeks; brands that do not should fix those first, because they are needed everywhere else too.

We help foreign brands set up the content, creators and e-commerce side of selling in Poland. If TikTok Shop is on your list, let’s talk.
